Edge keeps crashing in Windows 11. I have already tried quite a few troubleshooting steps suggested here and it's still not fixed. The last suggestion I received before reinstalling Windows is to reinstall Edge. (Not repair/reinstall from the Add/Remove Programs menu, I've already tried that). I did this but it doesn't look like it worked. When I opened Edge after the reinstall all my tabs re-opened and I just don't think the reinstall worked correctly. Is there a way to uninstall Edge completely and then reinstall it? The option is grayed out in the Remove programs menu.

Followed the instructions all the way to the Powershell. However when I typed in .\setup.exe -uninstall -system-level -verbose-logging -force-uninstall and hit enter all it did was return to the original prompt.

Here you say Edge can't be uninstalled, yet your earlier post give steps to do just that.

BTW, when I ran that command nothing happened. I don't see an option in your instruction to run PowerShell as Administrator.

Confused …

My reason for wanted a reinstall is that I have a situation whereby any/all cookies with zero (0) bytes will never delete, even though a message says they have.

I had hoped a new install would cure that.

After Windows Update on LTSC, it gets installed for no reason. I never asked for it. And it does not let me uninstall even with direct execution of setup.exe with the uninstall flag.

The one reason I am using Windows is because Apps can be run in a portable manner, unlike Linux. So I never had to install any programs even after resetting the system. Forcing all these things in, I may as well just use Linux.

versions of windows 10 diffrent unless most think there more then 10 diffrent version one removed commands to do anything or hiden them

or just wont run , saidly say depends on version u have, and build date,

right now unless u have what called domain controler wich can unlock said settings , u need find program will add run by admin and run by other user such as admin , other whys there no possable way to get around it,
