E Tree points and ranking not syncing up between mobile and desktop.

Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

    Hi Thanks.
    Personally yes but e-tree wise no.

    As it is, for last 10-15days I was feeling bad for people getting 30k to 40 k daily where we keep hunting for every 10 points.

    Last week one day suddenly the mobile app showed my streak as "Day two". If it was broken it should be day 1. BUt teh earlier day all was Ok and now sudden;y it was Day 2.

    I felt really bad and sort of snapped. Decided to not continue with this anymore.

    Not even sure if Microsoft is actually planting the trees.

    So last 4 /5 days, I've totally stopped it. Feels a relief actually. Life was getting bound by 8am, 12pm and 4pm.

    Wish you all the best. I would try to make it to 200 as it is now too close and then probably stop as well.
