E Tree points and ranking not syncing up between mobile and desktop.

Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

    Regarding to your information I assume that you have some problems with E-tree.

    Make sure that they have the same login account.

    You can try to wait some time for the sync or log out of your account and then log in again. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know. Best Regards,

    Yes its the E Tree program ive been participating in. I've only one Microsoft account and yet as off today on edge browser desktop im ranked 36th with 527180 points and on my mobile on the start weather page im ranked 30th with 537180 points. My name doesnt appear on either top 50 list either because of the sync issue i presume. Ive included a couple of screen shots for you.

    Hi Tommy

    Just to add a couple of points, ive logged out and back in on both devices. It looks to me as its the mobile version thats the problem, if you look at how many points ive got it doesnt tally with the amount of trees its awarded me, and its exactly 10k points more than the desktop version.

    It seems that the point in mobile phone has some problem. If you logged out and back in on both devices it seems that not the sync problem.

    You can try submitting your feedback in the Edge by press Alt+Shift+I.
