Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

Always do the sidebar first then refresh the browser, its a hard lesson learnt. Anyway, it is better to lose 1000 than 5000

Yes if i access e tree on edge for android its only possible in desktop mode as well. I cant see why your bottom right hand side weather icon doesnt lead to the weather page and e tree icon though.

I agree, sorry i just meant three ways of accessing it via android. The other week i planted the tree via desktop and when i refreshed the sidebar it went straight to showing level six and didnt give me the 5000 points, i just got the 1000 instead of the combined 6000 like i usually do.

@Matt710 Lucky for you and other who have these options.

I only get on edge browser in android if I open weather page in desktop mode.
I've tried all other options - so many apps and links. nothing works. These are all the apps visible in Bing on my android:

I have the MSN weather and Start news apps installed separately other than Bing app and edge browser.
