E Tree points and ranking not syncing up between mobile and desktop.

Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

    How do people manage to get 30000 or 40000 in a day? 3 in top 20 (who get similar points almost daily) managed to get it!!!

    ski - surprising that visible in chrome and not in edge and that too on mobile. I have fairly new desktop but not visible.

    wallet thing I do the first in the day. even tried to keep cards list empty or populated or other scenarios but its random averaging 8 loss 2 wins. though you seem to get 7 wins and 3 losses. 👍

    I have lost 10 points and 70 points as well.

    The 10 points missing for ski conditions are available on the phone chrome browser which is how I get it every day. It is not visible on my laptop which is very old, however, I have seen it on a newer laptop when I logged in there.

    Also I think doing the wallet thing first without visiting the sidebar at all sometimes helps, though not always.

    Missing one icon resulting in 10 less points every day. Not sure how to bring it back.
    Also, most of days 'visit your wallet" task gets ticked automatically resulting in loss of 70 points. Not sure how you manage to get full everyday @Anonkj.
