Your pings show that Wondershare has been redirected to 127.0.0.1, which is the address of your own computer. This is a technique used to prevent the computer from connecting to specific sites. The redirection is probably in your Hosts file. Have you knowingly edited this file yourself?

You can check whether this is what happened: on the Start menu, find Notepad, right-click on it and select More > Run as administrator. Give permission, then in Notepad navigate to and open this file:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Look for entries like

127.0.0.1 www.wondershare.com

If you find any, disable them simply by typing a hash (#) at the start of the line, save and close the file. Then try opening Wondershare in Edge again.

If your Hosts file had been edited, do you know who or what did it if you didn't?

Firedog was showing you how to "Comment out" listings for Wondershare that showed up in your Hosts file so they can't block connection. Just follow what he said which is to place a # at the beginning of each line that has Wondershare or 127.0.0.1 in it.

Did you already place the # mark in front of those example lines,or were they there already - which makes sense since they are only examples? Leave the ones which were already commented out like they are.

Then just add # to the front of all the other lines with Wondershare or 127.0.0.1 in them to comment them out so Hosts file will ignore them and let you download from Wondershare site again.

I had showed you how to reset the Hosts file which you asked about, which would do the same thing, I believe. But go with what Firedog said because he's our top expert on Edge here.
