Microsoft Edge on Mac crashes

I recently heard about the Microsoft Edge available on Mac and decided to try it out, so I downloaded on the website and follow the instructions. But once it's installed, the app pops like like any other Mac apps, but it instantly crashed and closed by itself, even with several times of reinstalling. Is there anything I could do to fix this? Like something needed to change in the settings?

    Updated Safari and immediately following that install, MS Edge will no longer open. Have uninstalled Edge, downloaded Edge using Safari and reinstalled Edge. Still will not launch.

    Has to be an issue with Safari update I would think.

    Same here. I removed Microsoft Edge and I am sure that Apple and Microsoft will fix this issue. There is very little we users can do, as always.

    same. Seem safari 14 broke edge. All extensions crashed on launch. Cannot open any Edge setting pages

    same here, updated Safari 14 automatically now Edge doesn't work!! any idea if I can roll back Safari??
