Microsoft Edge on Mac crashes

I recently heard about the Microsoft Edge available on Mac and decided to try it out, so I downloaded on the website and follow the instructions. But once it's installed, the app pops like like any other Mac apps, but it instantly crashed and closed by itself, even with several times of reinstalling. Is there anything I could do to fix this? Like something needed to change in the settings?

2020-08-05T22:46:44+00:00 Strange. Downloaded and installed edge from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge
As usual it started automatically after installation and crashed. error message as usual.
But I kept double clicking on the app and suddenly it opened and is running now???
(I remembered that I had to do that when installing google chrome, and Edge is made from chromium)
So, if edge crashes, just keep opening it until it runs.

2020-08-26T06:12:28+00:00 I also encountered the same issue when it crashed after I booted up my Mac. What worked for me was to uninstall it then download Edge using Safari. Zero issues so far. What's strange is that I tried to do the same but with Google Chrome, however, it crashed right as I opened it on a fresh install.
