Microsoft Edge on Mac crashes

I recently heard about the Microsoft Edge available on Mac and decided to try it out, so I downloaded on the website and follow the instructions. But once it's installed, the app pops like like any other Mac apps, but it instantly crashed and closed by itself, even with several times of reinstalling. Is there anything I could do to fix this? Like something needed to change in the settings?

    Hi Nick!

    As mentioned by a few users including myself, if you restart the Mac the problem should be fixed.

    Try downloading the Beta build. It will be numerically designated higher than the Current "Stable and Supported" build.
