Microsoft Edge on Mac crashes

I recently heard about the Microsoft Edge available on Mac and decided to try it out, so I downloaded on the website and follow the instructions. But once it's installed, the app pops like like any other Mac apps, but it instantly crashed and closed by itself, even with several times of reinstalling. Is there anything I could do to fix this? Like something needed to change in the settings?

    This was solved a few days after posting and reported it to MS.  It was apparently an internal issue.  Hope it now works for you.

    Doesn't work with me either, from Chrome and Safari, version 83.0.478.56

    Bounces in the dock for about a minute then nothing, Force Quit shows "not responding".

    Works for me too on the stable channel. However beta or dev are still not launching. 

    @HannuHaam, do you still have a live repro tat we can take a look? 

    Sorry, forgot to answer here but got the dev version working as well. The version that fixed it for me was 'MicrosoftEdgeDev-84.0.502.0'
