Has Microsoft E-Tree Been Exploited?

A handful of new users jumped to the top of the leaderboard with round-number points in the millions. Disconcerting to legitimate and dedicated users. Suspicious and conspicuous. Current number 6, Yggdrasil, was in clear first place, at least for the last few months.

    Oh nice! Finally, they caught wind of it and have sorted it out. Hopefully they get that last person too and patch it so it doesn't happen again.

    Looks Like Microsoft & E tree are have deleted the hackers al but one new one.... GO MS & E Tree!!

    I'm hoping MS has logs or can at least can look back and be able to determine what happened and be able to fix and restore it. But at this point, I don't think they even know about it.

    The only thing I can see it being legit, was if there was some sort of event/promotion they participated in that rewarded them with the crazy amount of points, but I'm sure someone would have heard or seen something about it.

    I'm not 100% sure they are cheating, but the amount of points they all gained over 2 days, is just too suspicious to me. At most everyone can only get a couple of thousands points per day, not hundreds of thousands and millions of points
