A handful of new users jumped to the top of the leaderboard with round-number points in the millions. Disconcerting to legitimate and dedicated users. Suspicious and conspicuous. Current number 6, Yggdrasil, was in clear first place, at least for the last few months.

2023-02-17T21:05:14+00:00 Microsoft should be able to determine why. They should have logs of who earned >10k in a day and via which actions. If these exploiters figured out how to modify earning amounts for any actions or something similar, MS would have the cause and a potential fix.
(P.S. I think everyone is completely okay with MS paying for these thousands of extra trees to be planted, but the users should be removed from the leaderboard.)
