Password import edge not working

Updated Edge to Version 105.0.1343.50 in hopes it'd be fixed.

No LUCK. SSDD.

Just updated my browser to: Version 105.0.1343.50 (Official build) (64-bit).

The drama continues, still the option to import passwords doesn't work. So, I reverted back to Keepass. However, I noted that dialog boxes - that worked once, and/or still work under Linux or macOS - don't work in Keepass in Windows. Don't have the proof, but it seems like more is broken in current build of Edge.

This is worrisome, I'm not into a browser-switch-contest. When I switch (or ditch) a browser, it's mostly for a while. Ditched Chrome for Edge, but thinking to either return or to move on. Edge in this current state (without proper support for passwords) isa no go.

Sad, really started to like Edge, but I'm not going to sit and wait or hope for the better. I have work to be done, that relies on PASSWORDS. And Edge fails in that respect. Microsoft is taking it's time which is - in case of core functionality that's broken of one of the primary software components unacceptable.

If this would've been 1 week perhaps even 3. Not good, but to be understood. But not nearly two months of drama ... Time to resolve FAST.

I worked in IT for 38 years and if we had a problem of this severity we would have been locked in the office till it was FIXED!

That's pushing it a bit. It was many months (years, even - I can't remember) before Edge first got the 'import passwords from CSV' feature. In most cases, passwords would have been imported along with other browser data when Edge was launched for the first time, from whichever browser was deemed to be the usual one.

Not so much a 'severe problem,' more a minor, temporary inconvenience, with known workarounds.

By the time they get it fixed I will have saved all of my passwords again already! And I pay online utilities for 22 homeowner's association, so a lot of passwords saved! Uggg
