Saved Tabs Feature

For the folks who are using the  "Tabs Aside" extension, I wonder if you have seen the same issues that I have found. 

1. Occasionally at least one group of set aside tabs is lost. 
2. Occasionally I set tabs aside and they do not show up in the list.

3.  If you try to delete just one of the tabs from a set aside group it appears to work but when I go back to get the rest (after having closed the extension) that entire group is gone.  They are there as long as I open them directly after deleting individual tabs/pages.

I have Tabs Aside installed Billy, but I don't use it anywhere near as often as I did in the original Edge.  Consequently I haven't recognized the bugs you identify, but that's probably because I'm not paying attention.  Maybe you could contact the developer and work with a real person, not a corporate marshmallow ;-)

So again,  The save tabs feature that was integrated into Edge which was not an extension was still superior to what this extension does.

 True dat.  If find the extension interface a bit tweaky and more prone to doing unexpected things.  It was nice to have simple interface and not have the current tabs popping up all the time in the real estate where the set-aside tabs were.  Talk about engineers and their ideas about "features"...

Microsoft is DEFINITELY **** with us.  

As a major complainer about losing tabs, I've been using Chrome exclusively.  However, I saw your post and thought it was worth a try.  I opened Edge and sure enough, there was "other favorites".  I opened it and there was the 'tabs set aside' folder.  I fooled around with it and sure enough, I was able to load alll of the tabs with one click into a new folder.  Next, I closed and reopened Edge, Went to "other favorites" and with one click was able to reopen all the tabs from the previous session.  It worked exactly as you said.

At this point, I felt, OK.  I can live with that, although I'd still rather have the old way.  WELL, **** MICROSOFT MUST HAVE THOUGHT THAT'S TOO EASY.  The very next day I opened Edge, went to "other favorites", and "tabs set aside" is NO LONGER THERE.  I tried everything and was not able to duplicate what I had just been able to do the night before.  Some **** AT MICROSOFT took back what they had just given us.

I knew there was a reason why I've been using Chrome for years and will continue to prefer it.  I NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LOSING TABS.

Is it still working for you?  I followed ZenabKhan's post and the "tabs set aside" worked well.  The very next day and POOF, it was gone.  What Microsoft gave us, they took it away.  ****!

MS might defend themselves by saying reopening previous session works so well now that this guarantees the same facility. Which o.c. is not the case.

They should even expand it by making it possible to give saved windows a name.

@RedBentley Thank you for this. I have been searching for my set aside tabs. I know you responded forever ago but I just got the latest version of Edge (or whatever it is called).
