Saved Tabs Feature

... storing our sessions away, exactly the way we left them, to be able to continue them later even after shutdown and reboot ...

Can you explain why the Collections feature doesn't fulfil this requirement? 

E.g. at the end of the day, right-click on a tab and select Add all tabs to a new collection. The new collection will be created and by default named with today's date. Tomorrow, open the collection, click on the ⋯ (Sharing and more) and select Open all.

I Think the new features of Microsoft Edge are gorgeous! and specially being able to add Chrome extensions, when I was aware of that I've installed OneTab, and my problem was over, thank a lot for taking this decision!

Tabs Aside, which you can find under Edge extensions also works, and it sounds like it was a Chrome extension to begin with.

I posted this earlier.  Adding the option to add all tabs to Collections (which was not available when this thread was started) makes Collections a bit of a better option to make this work.  Set Aside tabs was genuinely the easiest to use and required much less work.  So here's what I posted before.  I'm curious why there is not a way to add all the tabs to Collections from the Collections pane.

Collections is very interesting BUT.

1.  It still requires me to individually add each tab.

2. It still requires me to remove each tab individually before I can open another group.

(Sometimes I just want to set aside the tabs I've been working with (maybe just browsing with) while I pull up a group of tabs to actually work with while not losing the daily news stuff for instance.  Setting these aside helps me to concentrate on the one task without having to waste time to do it.)

3. It seems to open the group in a new window which can lead to me losing the other tabs because of the order I close the windows.

4.  With "Set Aside Tabs", If I open the group and work with the pages; when I set them aside again they are saved in the current iteration and not the originally saved page.  Also any new pages I opened while working are also saved.  With Collections, I have to make sure that I remember to save each individual new tab.  Then I have to save the tabs that I have progressed on, and delete the older version.  

For me.  Set aside tabs doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Collections has but it saved me time and eliminates errors.  

Collections IS a welcomed addition to the Edge browser.  I recommend using it for many things but I would still like to have the simplicity and time saving of set aside tabs.  

Maybe they could allow you to set aside tabs and then have the option to add that grouping to Collections. 

Collections allows you to name the group easily, the UI is nice and helpful.
