HTML5 can generally be used as an alternative to Adobe Flash. Both include features for playing audio and video within web pages, It can also be used to play some basic HTML5 browser games and integrated vector graphics are possible with both.
Mi HP print utility uses Flash and now, no longer works meaning no desktop control of my printer. I've looked on the HP website to no avail. Any options?
I had the same problem with my HP Solution Centre not opening.
You can download 'HP Scan and Capture' for scanning or download 'HP Smart' which has most of what was on the HP Solution Centre.

Smilebox no longer works without Flashplayer. I need a replacement that will work with this program. I have Windows 10 Home 64. HP Notebook - 15-bw028ca, Product number 2DW41UA I just get a page that has an fi on it that cannot be closed, and then I have to shut down my computer. No other changes on my PC have been made to explain this. Please provie some help.

HTML5 is used for FlashPlayer-like functionality going forward. But, HTML5 requires re-writing the Flash app/content to be rendered. So, HTML5 is not really a Replacement for playing Flash content. HTML5 has it's own functionality that is roughly equivalent to, but not a replacement for rendering old Flash content.
Ruffle is a drop-in replacement for Adobe Flash Player and will directly render old Flash content.
