HTML5 can generally be used as an alternative to Adobe Flash. Both include features for playing audio and video within web pages, It can also be used to play some basic HTML5 browser games and integrated vector graphics are possible with both.
yea but it does not work on nhl.com. ..at least it doesn't on my XPS computer with this win10 abortion. Give me back XP or win 7 please
it also happens with Firefox browser, so is not an Edge issue, its more likely a website issue, so nhl developers have to fix their video web player and update it for new technologies.

I believe we're done for in Edge.
I've only used it to play World Golf Tour and as of today, no use of Microsoft product will load it. It suggests downloading an app to my phone, which I have done. I'm over it.

The answer that Edge contains a replacement for Adobe Flash Player so we don't have to do anything is at best a partially true answer. I have been viewing videos from a security camera for years and I have never been able to view them using Edge. I get the message "Error loading player - No playable sources found" (I have an up to date Edge browser and go this message when I tried it today). For the past few years, I have been using Internet Explorer - which uses Adobe Flash Player - and that has been working fine - until today. It seems that Adobe has EOF on the Flash Player today (1/12/2021) and as of this morning, it no longer works. So I have two Microsoft browsers, neither of which will play the videos from my camera. What is the best solution?
