SSL - Error - How to go "around" it

Hi There

I have the following problem, while accessing a website from a partner

Error Message:

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Unsupported protocol

The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Google Chrome lets me open the page, but tells me: "Your connection to this site is not fully secure". 

I know, that the website uses an "outdated" security configuration. But this partner may not so fastly change that. Is there a possibility to tell Edge kind a list of websites, where he can ignore that? To disable this feature completely is not a solution in my opinion. (to manage a "whitelist also not, but it is the smaller pain)

Other suggestion? (other Browser is also no opinion and with Internet Explorer 11 it does not work :-( )

    Same issue for me on windows 11 using Chrome browser. None of the fixes here worked, I also noticed that I had the same error message on my android phone when visiting the same site so that got me thinking about commonality

    The fix for me was via my ISP security settings. I use BT, (I'm in the UK) and they have Parental security settings on their broadband packages turned on by default.

    I simply logged into the BT Secuity page using my BT ID and whitelisted the site that I was having issues with, it was a wine buying site, and with a refresh of the website the error disappeared.

    I hope this information can help someone. It was bugging me for days.

    I Hope this helps as I was having the same issue.

    This worked for Windows 10 Internet Explorer

    Open Internet Explore

    Click the Cog gear icon upper left.
    Go to Internet Options

    Go to Advanced

    Scroll down and under the security section

    Uncheck all the Use TLS, Use SSL except Use TLS 1.0 should be checked

    Close Internet Explorer and reopen it.

    It worked for me I hope it helps others!

    This has locked me out of my Router. You do not think of what will happen with an update then you get this from Microsoft. Thanks alot!

    Same here. I have some older hardware with web interfaces that I connect to internally - they aren't connected to the internet...

    I dont have the ability to update their firmware either. It would be great if I could simply ignore this error or even install some kind of extension that allows me to override it.

    I've got the very same problem, lots of old hardware that requires upgrades or simple check on internal network and can't do anything
