SSL - Error - How to go "around" it

Hi There

I have the following problem, while accessing a website from a partner

Error Message:

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Unsupported protocol

The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Google Chrome lets me open the page, but tells me: "Your connection to this site is not fully secure". 

I know, that the website uses an "outdated" security configuration. But this partner may not so fastly change that. Is there a possibility to tell Edge kind a list of websites, where he can ignore that? To disable this feature completely is not a solution in my opinion. (to manage a "whitelist also not, but it is the smaller pain)

Other suggestion? (other Browser is also no opinion and with Internet Explorer 11 it does not work :-( )

    Same site is working fine in Internet Explorer 10.

    Hi there,

    Please follow the steps to resolve the ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

    1. Open Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Tick all SSL & TLS version
    2. Open FireFox > type about:config in the FireFox address bar and press Enter > type tls.version in the search box > Double click on a setting named security.tls.version.enable-deprecated to change its value to true.

    Now FireFox once again supports older TLS versions.

    Hope this can help you guys to access an old devices that still use TLS 1.0 & TLS 1.1.

    This issue occurs while navigating to a web address that uses TLS 1.0 and TLS1.1

    You can resolve this using below steps:

    1. Open Microsoft edge
    2. Navigate to Settings > Default Browser > and ALLOW "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode" > You can also specify the private IP (https://IP) in the internet explorer mode pages in the same section
    3. Search for Internet options on Windows search bar
    4. Open internet options > advanced tab > scroll down and enable TLS1.0 and TLS 1.1

    Try navigating to the web address now. It should work

    forget about MS Edge, use firefox instead. On Firefox's address bar type about: config and press enter. Accept risks.

    Now in the search bar search for "TLS" and change "security.tls.version.min" to "1"

    that's it
