Where is the Windows Ink feature in new Edge Browser

Where is the Windows Ink feature?  I use/used the ink markup of a web page in the legacy Edge all the time.  I can't find it anywhere in the new Edge.

Hi Kurt,

unfortunately, inking on websites is one of the many features that are not (yet) available in the new edge chromium.

you can make the suggestion to the feedback team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I, the more users that want this feature the more likely that Microsoft will add it.

Inking in web pages would be available by end of the September in the Dev/Canary branches of Microsoft Edge. Expect more information about the stable release in the future.

    It is my understanding the feature is currently removed from Edge Browser. Send feedback and let the Software Developers know what you want.

    The new Edge, based on the same Chromium code as Google's Chrome, but modified significantly by MS to remove Google's account and monitoring and add new features, does support Inking on PDF's. It does not support Inking on web pages. The good news is that it didn't support Inking on PDFs a few months ago either, so they do appear to be adding these capabilities back in, just that it's taking time. The current Canary build has even expanded PDF Inking to include highlighting and more. It's the sequencing that I criticized above: at least from a user perspective, they should have done web pages before PDF, because there is no other way to Ink on web pages (other than the generic Inking on any screen capture as you described, which isn't really the same thing), while there were already alternatives to Inking on PDF files. I can't speak to the technical complexity -- maybe it was much easier to start with PDF.

    There is an extension for MS Edge - It does annotate web pages. Give it a try.
