Where is the Windows Ink feature in new Edge Browser

Where is the Windows Ink feature?  I use/used the ink markup of a web page in the legacy Edge all the time.  I can't find it anywhere in the new Edge.

Hi Kurt,

unfortunately, inking on websites is one of the many features that are not (yet) available in the new edge chromium.

you can make the suggestion to the feedback team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I, the more users that want this feature the more likely that Microsoft will add it.

Inking in web pages would be available by end of the September in the Dev/Canary branches of Microsoft Edge. Expect more information about the stable release in the future.

    This is the old version of Edge browser

    Does include Annotation tools (Pen & Ink)

    Huh? What device and OS are you using? 

    My Surface (Windows 10 Home) doesn't show any Edge in Apps & Features but the new one and an upgrade that was installed 4/12 (sadly, full functionality not restored).

    I also wish I could downgrade back to the legacy Edge. The only reason I "upgraded" (although so far, I haven't found ANYTHING that I think is better) was because some videoconferencing or games site (I think it was Google Hangouts or Jackbox Games) required me to either upgrade Edge or use a different browser. Because I generally liked, and was familiar with, Edge, I figured I would do the upgrade. When I saw how different it was, I wished I hadn't. Features (such as Inking) were removed, the Favorites were reorganized and displayed in a less convenient way, and even the general UI was less appealing. But it was newer, so I figured I just needed to configure some settings, so I actually installed it (I don't even want to call it upgrade, since so far, I think it does less) on my other machine as well. Thank goodness that was my machine, otherwise I'd be the most hated man I know! I remember how everyone felt when Microsoft moved from IE to Edge. Most people didn't like it, but it just took a little getting used to (although some sites do still require that you use IE instead of Edge). Microsoft still allows you to use IE if you install it separately, so I can only hope that they either improve the new Edge soon, otherwise their browser reputation will go down very fast!
