Where is the Windows Ink feature? I use/used the ink markup of a web page in the legacy Edge all the time. I can't find it anywhere in the new Edge.

unfortunately, inking on websites is one of the many features that are not (yet) available in the new edge chromium.
you can make the suggestion to the feedback team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I, the more users that want this feature the more likely that Microsoft will add it.

Inking in web pages would be available by end of the September in the Dev/Canary branches of Microsoft Edge. Expect more information about the stable release in the future.
So basically Microsoft removed the one truly unique and truly useful feature Edge had over Chrome and wants us to get excited about a new Edge that's basically Chrome but not as good? And which lacks inking?? Nice move Redmond.
I am sorry it won't. Legacy Edge would no longer be developed as we have been told.
(Personal opinion not reflecting my moderator role here): Legacy Edge had a lot of website compatibility problems which caused problems for both Microsoft and the devs, essentially the reason why they had to switch to the common Engine. I tried to use Legacy Edge countless times and had to switch to Chrome because of obvious reasons. Since Edge Chromium released, I have never looked back. Rest assured Inking features would come however it may take a while.
@GraniteStateColin - Well said. I work on the Surface Commercial team at Microsoft. I love inking over websites. Even for things as trivial as ordering take-out for the family. We pass around my Surface Pro. . .everyone circles and writes their names next to what they want directly on the website's menu page. I'm not chasing everyone down with a notepad. I would be surprised if the feature wasn't added. I'll be hollering for it internally.
Please make a strong case to for the original and better Edge to be revived, maintained and further developed, side by side with the worse new Edge. Microsoft can afford to have 2 browser and happy users on both of them.
