Anyone using (new) Edge C (GA) & or testing the Edge Insider beta Channels, comments (bad AND good), tips, info to share, observations, suggestions/requests, issues/problems, curiosities, questions, you name it... The floor is yours...

Myself, I have run all available Insider Builds since April.  And, now, running Edge C GA, as well; swapped from HTML Jan. 15th.

I am/have been very impressed with the performance.  Been a bit fun adapting to some things/methods/locations/layouts/structure.  Some NTML features seem missing, BUT, heaps more stuff is coming very soon.  Some 'new' & different items are quite cool.  It has been interesting as an Insider.  And it will be interesting for people using & discovering THIS Edge.  It is, well, IMHO, will be THE outstanding browser.  I, strongly urge & encourage Folks to adopt it. Be prepared, though... it's very fast

Let's see what more detail & specifics y'all may have, will have to add here...

Anxious for your remarks, look forward to the input that can be share to everyone's benefit, of course.

The floor is yours...

Cheers,

Drew

You asked (me) about ad blockers. Having 1 does no harm nor is a bad idea, still, a good idea.  How needed, now, is hard to say...  I did try running without one for quite a while once we had Strict Tracking Prevention, as an experiment and things stayed very clean, no noticeable difference.  BUT, they are 2 different things, filling 2 different roles/tasks. So, as I suggested, still, a place for an ad blocker.

    Speaking of flags:

Reading view, aka immersive reader, will not have its full compliment of options without this flag; in other words, this flag needs to be enabled.  > edge://flags, type in Grammar

    Thank You Drew,

I'll check into both of these. Er... are you trying to say that my Grammar! is that Bad! <LOL> just kidding you of course my friend. Have you noticed the "WARNING EXPERIMENTAL FEATURES AHEAD" warning when ever you go into Flags... what are your thoughts on these being safe to implement and use?.. I haven't had any problems using them so far.

The flags are ok.  But, it's the same as beta stuff... at ones own risk, like a waiver because, beta stuff & flags are not 'officially' supported.

    Cheers,

    Drew

    Hi again Drew,

    Re the TIPS page: https://microsoftedgetips.microsoft.com/en-us/all/

I clicked onto the Sync tip, which brought up this popup slideshow arrangement (I don't know it's real name). I double-clicked onto both images, but nothing happens. It seemed there was more information.
