This is insane. I woke up, turned my pc on and see that while my computer updated Microsoft sneakily installed a new version of edge. The icing on the cake, however, is that my system's screen was commandeered by an unclosable presentation forcing me to watch a slow and meticulous explanation of all of the changes you've made to my system that I never asked for and want nothing to do with.
This behavior is doing the opposite of what your company wants to happen. These forceful tactics do not make anyone want to use your service and immediately make you a nuisance and enemy to the user. It's as if you as a company feel your users are going to be too stupid to notice this change or too lazy to go back to using their original browser and just passively accept the changes you've made. We're not cattle. We make our own decisions.
So here I am, taking up my time and energy trying to change things BACK to the way I had them, on the computer I pay a lot of money to own and maintain.

You can change your default browser but anything you search in cortana search box or click a link in mail app will open edge you cant change that but it's actually good it works mostly like chrome you can get chrome extensions and use it in edge and its tad faster
Thus, nothing can be done about it, at least not by me!

I am HAPPY to see this post!! It is great to know... No matter how "tiny" our voices are to the GIANT HEARTLESS Corporation is... The fact remains that WE ARE NOT ALL SHEEPLE. Someday... We will find a way to create something like windows and take BACK what is suppose to be ours. What goes UP MUST come DOWN. EVERY DOG has its DAY Microsoft. So keep on with your power tripped habits... Unlike OLD businesses who kept clients for YEARS... Your downfall will be FASTER than you think. Look at GIANTS like WAL-MART THEY felt invincible probably like you do now... What happened? BOOM AMAZON was BORN and Walmart is LOOSING ground FAST. They PRACTICE BETTER PEOPLE SKILLS than Walmart BOTH as providers of SERVICE AND EMPLOYERS. IF you were SMART you would take a lesson or two from HISTORY and see your PRIDE comes before your FALL.
