Hi, does anyone know how to make links clicked open in a new tab, rather than in the existing tab, in the new Microsoft Edge Chromium, please?

Why not open a link in a new tab automatic as in google. You have one I have used "CTRL+a Click on link" Please use it automatic .

No, MS-Edge does not have the capability of doing something SO basic. I like it but when I have to research something I go back to my Google chrome. Hey Microsoft - Just listen!

The only thing I have found to open links in new tabs is the Edge extension "Tab to Tab. This makes links open in a new tab if you DOUBLE CLICK the link. Not what I wand but it is better than nothing.
Same thing here. I just got a new Android phone, and now if I follow a link in my email client it opens a new window, and clicking additional links in email opens in the same window. I'm sure some people would prefer this, but I want a new tab for each one. There should be a setting to create a default behavior for either option.
If it helps to understand my request, here's why. I read an email newsletter each morning with multiple links to news stories. On my previous phone, each link would open a new tab in Edge. That way I could open all the stories that interested me, finish reading my email, and then go read all the stories. Now I have to go back and forth - or do a workaround to open separate tabs.
I am using the stock Samsung email client on the new phone where I used a 3rd party app on the old one. But that shouldn't matter if this a default setting was available in Edge.
The unfortunate truth is that all too often these days, we are forced to use Edge by our overlords on corporate-controlled company computers. Otherwise we would probably ALL be using only Firefox or Chrome.
