Troubleshooting browser crashes or performance issues on Windows 10

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
My Microsoft Edge browser keeps freezing up. I have tried all the suggested solutions with no success. I like the design and functionality offered by Edge, but will change to Firefox until I get a notice that Microsoft has fixed the problem with Edge freeze ups.

For me the most practical solution is using Chrome. In the past I never had mem issues with it, currently don't see any issues, and don't see why there would be issues in the future. Although Edge has some nice features, Chrome usually follows suit in there delivery. I would prefer Edge, but what can you do. I am in the corporate IT world, and MS has always been slow in fixing problems.
Yes, I simply stopped. I am using windows 11, and am waiting on some dependency to pop up, but have not seen it yet. It should not be an issue unless MS is up to no good. I have been a dominate Chrome user way back to when it first showed up on the scene.
Hi everyone,
I would like anyone who has this issue to run the repair option and see if that solves the problem.

Did this already, problem was not resolved.
I would like to get the version number of your Microsoft Edge.
If Edge freezes before getting to the About Microsoft Edge page, you can get the version number from Windows settings.
