My Microsoft Edge browser keeps freezing up. I have tried all the suggested solutions with no success. I like the design and functionality offered by Edge, but will change to Firefox until I get a notice that Microsoft has fixed the problem with Edge freeze ups.

Mine locks up immediately and task manager shows 100% usage. I've been using google chrome for almost a year now. I cry it once in awhile and I have the same problem.
I noticed this recently with only my work computer. If I visit literally any website that has ads - say to research tax law analysis on literally any other website besides the IRS, it'll freeze if I let all of the ads load. Weirdly enough it doesn't happen on personal computers. However, on two company laptops, it's consistently happened. I have no solution to this yet besides only visiting sites without ads on the side bars.
I agree. Locks up primarily when scrolling a new page or other graphics dense page with long scroll. It's as if it's holding all of it in memory. I have 16GB RAM and it recently warned me I had used 70% of memory right before it locked up. Seems to lock up Edge and other graphics. Window won't even close from the task bar. Only Task Manager or reboot.
Same sh.t here:(
Eric,
FYI. For me, Edge started freezing after your update! Edge loads, but I can't click on the search bar or open a story. Sometimes when I refresh the page, parts of it will work, sometimes not. Resetting, reloading, and reinstalling have not solved this problem.
