My Microsoft Edge browser keeps freezing up. I have tried all the suggested solutions with no success. I like the design and functionality offered by Edge, but will change to Firefox until I get a notice that Microsoft has fixed the problem with Edge freeze ups.

I've been having the same "freezing" problem for quite a long time. I'm running Version 90.0.818.46 (Official build) (64-bit) and have removed all extension from Edge. I have been able to experience "freezeless" browsing by disabling the "SYNC" function . This does not seem like a preferable option as syncing my favorites across the 7 devices that I have is quite convenient. If the feature is there I should be able to use it...please don't remove the feature ;) Thanks, hope that helps!
Peace,
Ray
P.S. I have experienced full on lockups in the past after us the "Remove Duplicate Favorites" feature. Just an FYI
Hi Ray,
It sounds like syncing is causing the performance issue. I would like for you to use send feedback for our engineers to investigate.

Thanks Eric! I just switched to Chrome...solved my problem immediately...LOL
It is pretty funny to me, how many here are unwilling to just do what the suggestions ask.
Dump the cache and such like they ask.
Another way to tell if it is the program, vs. some **** that has got in there, is to create and or use another profile on your computer.
If it works with the other profile, then it is not the browser, it is things in the settings, cache, etc., that are mucked up.
When I followed their instructions, it worked like a charm,
