My Microsoft Edge browser keeps freezing up. I have tried all the suggested solutions with no success. I like the design and functionality offered by Edge, but will change to Firefox until I get a notice that Microsoft has fixed the problem with Edge freeze ups.

It freezes randomly. I've deleted and reinstalled it to no avail. I have all the most current Microsoft updates.
Hi StephenGwin,
I would like to get more information about this. Is it freezing randomly or on certain websites?
Eric
It is freezing randomly. It has no obvious connection with any website. Very frustrating. I've tried all the recommended fixes and it still randomly freezes. I'm fed up with it.
i'm on Edge 92,
and i think since around edge 90 or 91, my edge will freeze randomly, not everyday, but it's just randomly freeze, i notice it all happens on youtube website, i'm not sure what had triggered it, when it is freezing, nothing on edge works, but all the system stuff other programs were not affected, then i have to use task manager to end edge
I tried your method Doug Timmer. When I searched the APP list I came up with 2 Edge entries. The one called Edge Update had both boxes (Modify and Update) grayed out when I selected the Edge Update box. I tried the only way I know which is to right click on the selected entry and select delete, but there was no delete in the drop down box.
Any other ideas? I'm running out of them myself. I'm using DuckDuckGo until Edge gets fixed.
I've fixed the problem (which was EDGE, Firefox, & IE freezing on certain websites, randomely.
I did this as a HAIL MARY, because I tried almost everything suggested on the net (including downloading Firefox, which and the same problem as EDGE.
Anyway, problem solved with a wild guess.
