Edge keeps freezing up.

I can't help but wonder with the numerous time this issue has been discussed on the MS Community site, for at least two years now -- without any apparent efforts by MS to correct the problem -- does MS even monitor or pay attention to this site's comments???

Agree. And it seems like suggestions are all related to the users set up. Though I had experienced this issue on multiple computers and clean installs of Edge and/ or clean installs of Windows.

(Knock on wood… I now use Windows 11 beta installs and the issue has seemed to have gone away for me.)

Ditto. Anywhere, anytime. Online or off. There is no pattern except always happens.

I am having the same problem with Edge and Chrome. Both browsers seem to act in the same way. At seemingly random situations, Edge will just quit responding to input but the system keeps going for a few seconds. I'll look at Task Manager and try and kill the process but that does not work and the system will freeze. If I don't try and kill the process, soon the entire system will freeze without the ability to do anything than push the power button to reboot.

It is happening often - 2-3 x day now. It did not happen until I updated Windows 2 weeks ago. Not sure if this is some kind of networking issue thru HTTP or what but the only time it happens is when I am using the browsers. This is Windows home edition updated to 8/24/21. All the browsers are also updated.
