Troubleshooting browser crashes or performance issues on Windows 10

My Microsoft Edge browser keeps freezing up. I have tried all the suggested solutions with no success. I like the design and functionality offered by Edge, but will change to Firefox until I get a notice that Microsoft has fixed the problem with Edge freeze ups.

Thanks Kandyman! It seems to be working for the time being. And thanks for the quick response.
Thank you, that's not a long term solution but, better than having to end task and start over. I really don't want to change browsers again, they all seem to have their own issues.
Having to use such a work around is unacceptable. I shall simply be using Chrome until Edge is fixed.
I had previously experienced this issue with Edge in Win 10. I had hoped with Win 11 Microsoft had resolved the issue. Apparently not. In addition when I launch Edge I get 2 sets of start up pages. Whatever I select for a start up tab opens 2 tabs when I launch Edge. Until Microsoft sorts out Edge I am going to be using Chrome. It is very annoying.
I have similar circumstances, hardware and all. Sounds like a memory leak. The use of memory should not continue to go up, it should peak and level off not lock up the stream. I am hoping Microsoft is monitoring this thread for additional info.
