Troubleshooting browser crashes or performance issues on Windows 10
The only way to stop all this nonsense is not to use Edge or Chrome.
Edge and Chrome freezes while browsing making Windows not responsive for 1 minute follow by Windows explorer behave strangely

As title says, my Windows behave strangely every now and then. When browsing, it may freeze for a minute or so follow by making I can't open everything. If I'm lucky enough, this issue last for 2 hours, if not, I need to restart the PC. Photo below tells
it all.

2021-09-28T01:04:55+00:00 That is the magic solution! I turned off hardware acceleration in both browsers and they now work fine. Thanks to all who suggested this.
