Edge on iPad Pro 12.9 (1OS 14.4.1 and up) indefinitely non-responsive when tap on address or tab bar areas

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, etc. Works when I use an external keyboard and mouse (bluetooth and Magic Keypad), but touch causes lockup. Happens on both regular and in-private tabs.

Anyone have any experience with this?

The team is currently investigating a potential fix for this, and I'd like to invite you to test it. Testflight is an app for testing updates. You're welcome to download the new Microsoft Edge update through Testflight using this link. Once you do, please let me know if this issue is fixed or whether it continues.     The fix appears to have worked (good job, Wonderdevs!). I can no longer replicate the issue with the floating keyboard. Please put that in your next iOS update. Thanks.

    I agree the floating KB is very useful on larger iPad screens.  I have sent the feedback to them.

    Thanks for the independent testing, and I'm glad to see we've reached the same conclusion. 

    Would you please go one step further, please: would you please also do as @par_0511 has suggested and click the ellipsis in Edge on iOS and submit feedback with a link to this thread so the dev team has a better chance of seeing the issue and correcting it?

    The floating keyboard is more useful in on large iPads, and it would be great if they'd solve this edge case.
