is there any schedule on returning "add note" function to the new Edge browser? This function was the core and unique feature of the original Edge, absent from all other competitors. It worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 4. The lack of it in the new Edge makes it ordinary and indifferent, just like Nokia/Blackberry switching to Android system.
Please make this function return again very soon. otherwise, the market share of Edge will deplete even further.

Add Notes was the only reason (and a good one) to use the old edge. There's really no need for anyone to discover what's good about the new edge because of that. Good call ceding what ever remaining market share you got.
OMG! We're not yet on the new Edge and I quite literally just today found the Edge "Add Note" function!!!!! I was SO excited and now am super bummed that the same functionality that I just found is not in the new version. Has anyone submitted this yet as feedback through Edge Settings > Send feedback?
I don't believe that I can highlight text on the page and save the whole page for context. And if not, not useful.
Looks like I can't even send feedback through Edge Settings > Send feedback. I need "Basic" diagnostic data enabled under Settings and my organization apparently has disabled (is managing) Diagnostic settings. Nice.

Dear Microsoft,
Please, return the Add Note and the ePUB reader feature to the new Edge or quickly create us extensions capable of doing these. We all believe this is likely to increase the millions of people switching over to the new Edge browser.
