"Add note" on new edge browser

is there any schedule on returning "add note" function to the new Edge browser? This function was the core and unique feature of the original Edge, absent from all other competitors. It worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 4. The lack of it in the new Edge makes it ordinary and indifferent, just like Nokia/Blackberry switching to Android system.

Please make this function return again very soon. otherwise, the market share of Edge will deplete even further.

    All the Web Note functions are still available through the Snip & Sketch tool and through the Window Ink Workspace Full Screen Snip tool. In fact, they might even be better than before. 

    Snip & Sketch can be activated from the Start menu or by "Win Logo Key + Shift + S". This is very useful because anything snipped goes straight to the clipboard. 

    For me, Windows Ink Workspace is located on the Task Bar as show below.

    I understand your response, but this not at all what the previous 'Add note' feature we had in Edge at the top right of the ribbon. I want to draw on the ACTIVE web page that I am in while browsing while screen sharing during a call, not on a screen copy ! PLEASE REACTIVATE THIS FEATURE !!!

    Hi, I was very disappointed when I couldn't find this option too.

    However, I just noticed that you can still draw and add notes on pdfs and probably ONLY pdfs sadly. (if this helps you even a little)

    I want that add note option back for all websites too :( hopefully they'll update it soon.

    Yeah, I am not a fan of this new browser. The "add notes" feature from the last version and it's easy access was my favorite thing about Edge. When reading a pdf, it would also have a feature to look at the table of contents and click on a chapter and it'd bring me there. This new update reminds me too much of chrome and it's sickening. The only thing that's left is being able to write on pdfs with ONE color, ONE size, no highlighter option....I don't understand why they would take all these features out.
