"Add note" on new edge browser

is there any schedule on returning "add note" function to the new Edge browser? This function was the core and unique feature of the original Edge, absent from all other competitors. It worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 4. The lack of it in the new Edge makes it ordinary and indifferent, just like Nokia/Blackberry switching to Android system.

Please make this function return again very soon. otherwise, the market share of Edge will deplete even further.

    Like everyone else, I am amazed and very disappointed that this feature should have disappeared from Edge.....

    However, I have found there is a similar extension feature that can be added to Chrome called "Web Paint".  I don't know if this will be any help to anyone..

    Hi everyone. A piece of good news: the new Edge is : 

    • able to run all your old EI11 sites in Edge (just move your legacy EI11 favorites in Edge)
    • actually built on the same Chromium open source core as Chrome, so you can add to Edge any of the Chrome extension catalog (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions)
    • then able to run the Web Paint extension above and have the scribbling tool we all missed
    • able to display and search directly in your intranet and own work document (by default when opening a new page)

    => you only need now only one Browser and use Edge for all of your needs :-)

    Adding notes to PDFs in the Edge browser is an incredibly useful tool. Please return this function ASAP.

    You can roll back to the old edge using comand prompt. Search “ How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Browser if Uninstall is Grayed Out “ in youtube. Ive used this method on 2 desktops, my surface laptop 2, and surface pro 5. It keeps all your settings and favorites tabs.
