"Add note" on new edge browser

is there any schedule on returning "add note" function to the new Edge browser? This function was the core and unique feature of the original Edge, absent from all other competitors. It worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 4. The lack of it in the new Edge makes it ordinary and indifferent, just like Nokia/Blackberry switching to Android system.

Please make this function return again very soon. otherwise, the market share of Edge will deplete even further.

    You can roll back to the old edge using comand prompt. Search “ How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Browser if Uninstall is Grayed Out “ in youtube. Ive used this method on 2 desktops, my surface laptop 2, and surface pro 5. It keeps all your settings and favorites tabs.

    I hate the new Microsoft Edge. It does not allow me to add notes on specific highlights that I've made. Instead, I have to use the collections tab to add notes without having them correspond to a particular line in the file I'm reading. 

    The older version also allowed me to save my work without having to save it as a new file, but this version does that every single time and won't save otherwise. 

    Please bring back these features. 

    PS: My PC updated to the new version today, and still won't allow me to revert back to the older version via Settings.

    Dear Microsoft,

    Please, return the Add Note and the ePUB reader feature to the new Edge or quickly create us extensions capable of doing these. We all believe this is likely to increase the millions of people switching over to the new Edge browser.
