remove Bing from microsoft edge

My question is very simple that is HOW DO I REMOVE BING AS SEARCH ENGINE FROM MICROSOFT EDGE.

Please, please and please give me a simple  and direct answer or solution and not by "beating around the bush"

I am getting very fed up with Bing appearing as my search engine. I never as for it but how come Bing came in as my search engine. There are thousands if not millions that HATE Bing. Why is it still there, JUST REMOVE IT OUT FROM THE WEB or whatever permanently.

PLEAE HELP ME TO REMOVE BING IN A VERY SIMPLIFIED  STEPS!

Assuming you're using the Chromium-based Edge, open Edge settings [click ⋯ (Settings and more) > Settings], then choose Privacy, search and services > Address bar and search > Manage search engines. You should see Google as an option. Click the ellipsis (three dots) at the right end of the entry and choose Make default.

    Here's how it looks for me (Edge 90.0.818.62).

    Edge 91 was released on 27 May, so your browser is a bit out of date. If you still have the same problem after updating, please submit a bug report using the browser's own feedback function (Alt-Shift-i).

    Sharing your frustration. Here's how it looks for me (Edge 90.0.818.62).

    Here's how it looks in Edge Dev 92.0.891.1 (same settings as Stable in my screenshot above):

    If I were interested in using Bing I would choose it or keep it in my settings. This makes me less likely to use it at all as a search engine.
