I'm having a very specific issue with Microsoft Edge where it freezes whenever I use Outlook (0365 Education on the web), and it produces an overlay of some type. This occurs when I open an email attachment, preview a message, and select a menu item that creates a confirmation overlay (for example when selecting 'empty folder'). It seems to be restricted to this behavior, and it reoccurs very frequently. I have tried the following:
I'm currently using Microsoft Edge Version 107.0.1418.52 (Official build) (arm64). I'm on a MacBook Air M1 MacOS Monterey V 12.6 (21G115).
I'm wondering if there is a known issue with this type of behavior specifically. Thanks in advance for any insight.
UPDATE, EDITED (DEC 7): After a few weeks, this issue still persists on all builds on and after 107.0.1418.52. I have opened a ticket with Microsoft. While the solution kindly provided by par_0511 allows you to roll back, no fix has been applied. In my case, I cannot use Edge on a production machine due to the age of the last working version.

terry.schoof/Thom Hanford, Can you please try downloading >= 108.0.1462.46 build and share whether it works for you or not? You can download it from this page Microsoft Edge (see below image)
Try disabling all ad blockers altogether to see if that helps.
If you adblocker captures a log of blocked hostnames, that is also invaluable in troubleshooting.
I've been adding to my whitelist for a while, so is entirely possible that I whitelisted something else previously that is also necessary.

EDIT: Added those to the whitelist but it didn't help in my case.
Thanks! I forgot I had that in place too...I'll give that a shot as well and make sure I don't have any other blockers in place :)
I'm using NextDNS (a similar ad-blocking DNS proxy) and can confirm that has something to do with using a DNS-based ad blocker.
I whitelisted the following hosts that were showing up as being blocked, and the problem went away:
*.measure.office.com
*.c.bing.com
*.c.msn.com
*.sb.scorecardresearch.com
I'm not sure which one (or combination of hosts) were responsible (I don't have time to try every combination), but whitelisting these hosts fixed the problem for me.
