I'm having a very specific issue with Microsoft Edge where it freezes whenever I use Outlook (0365 Education on the web), and it produces an overlay of some type. This occurs when I open an email attachment, preview a message, and select a menu item that creates a confirmation overlay (for example when selecting 'empty folder'). It seems to be restricted to this behavior, and it reoccurs very frequently. I have tried the following:
I'm currently using Microsoft Edge Version 107.0.1418.52 (Official build) (arm64). I'm on a MacBook Air M1 MacOS Monterey V 12.6 (21G115).
I'm wondering if there is a known issue with this type of behavior specifically. Thanks in advance for any insight.
UPDATE, EDITED (DEC 7): After a few weeks, this issue still persists on all builds on and after 107.0.1418.52. I have opened a ticket with Microsoft. While the solution kindly provided by par_0511 allows you to roll back, no fix has been applied. In my case, I cannot use Edge on a production machine due to the age of the last working version.

We were able to reproduce the issue and it occurs when native accessibility and web accessibility is on in edge://accessibility page. We have fixed this issue in latest Microsoft Edge code and the fix will be available in the next minor release of Microsoft Edge but till then you can workaround by unchecking the native accessibility and web accessibility setting.

I apologize for the delayed response. Thank you to everyone who posted here and sent feedback. This issue is currently being investigated by our engineers. At this time I don't have further information on when a fix will be released. However, I'll provide an update here as soon as possible.
So I've disabled all my ad blockers, ad blocker DNS, and still having this issue. The only thing I still have running in Microsoft Defender with web filtering enabled. I suppose it's possible that's also doing some sort of ad blocking and causing the issue...maybe I'll have to try adjusting the web filtering in Defender as well....
Just annoying that Edge is the only browser that appears to have this issue.
I completely uninstalled NextDNS from my Mac and rebooted.
Checked that I am using default DNS (Cloudflare) and then tried going to the same websites again like Teams.
I don't have any extensions except 1Password installed.
Browser was still crashing the first 3-4 times even after clearing cache and restarting multiple times as soon as I open up the settings pane (top right) in Teams as one example.
Then I tried to do the same thing the 5th time, just opening teams web and now it didn't crash.
I need to test this a bit more because I've had similar experience before when disabling Shopping feature in Edge, worked a few times and then started crashing again.
I just hope it works this time, btw Edge was updated yesterday on my Mac and now I'm running Version 108.0.1462.41 (Official build) (arm64).
EDIT: And now it crashed again when I tried the 6th time. Doing exact same test in Safari, Chrome or Firefox doesn't crash the browser.
