Other issues or features related to Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I close the new Edge, there's no warning if I have multiple tabs open. Has anyone else found a way to enable that? I get a warning in IE, and there was a warning in the previous Edge.

It’s helpful, but still doesn't replace a warning when closing multiple tabs. If you’re in the middle of filling out a form, a warning will help, but re-opening the site will not. MSFT needs to bring back this simple feature.
Subsequent to my 3 previous posts, I finally found a solution which reopens all previous Tabs including dynamic Web pages and unfinished Forms. I opened a couple of Tabs from Google Search, opened 2 Bank Accounts and did transactions in each and opened USA Form 8840 (it`s a PDF) and started filling it out. I then closed Edgemium. BTW, Form 8840 did give me a warning message but I said close anyway. I reopened Edgemium and Voilà...everything was there as it was previously...Banks Accounts still logged in and the Form ready to be continued. How you set this up is very simple.
Got to Edgemium Settings, click on On startup and click on Continue where you left off. That`s it. Hope this makes your life happier.

The required entry "asktoclose all tabs" doesn't exist with the "new" version of Edge
Thanks BukowskiJD for that observation.
For the sake of users who may not know what a dynamic Web page is, here's my definition:
A dynamic web page contains information that changes depending on the user, the time of day, the time zone, the user's selected language, the user's preferences and can display different content each time it's viewed according to user interaction.
Based on that, I opened several dynamic pages such as Google Search and requested a topic such as Dynamic Web Pages, The Weather Network where I asked for hourly temperatures and in French, eBay Search for a specific product and logged into two Banks. I closed Edgemium and reopened it with the option to Reopen closed window. All Tabs reopened, however the info from the two Banks was no longer there, just the possibility to login again, no doubt a security feature.
So definitely a WARNING popup is needed with the option to enable or disable it as the user wishes. Perhaps Microsoft programmers never mistakenly close Edgemium with multiples Tabs open but for us mere mortals, it's a MUST to have a safety net. How much code does it take? I'm sure I could write it on a paper napkin while sitting in a restaurant having coffee! C'mon Microsoft, how hard can it be?
As others have said, Vladimir, this version of Edgemium offers NO warning if you close it while you have multiple Tabs open unlike the previous version. Perhaps the next version will bring back the warning feature.
But not to worry. In the meantime please follow my workaround given above, that is, after accidently closing Edgemium, reopen it which will bring up your default opening page, right click on the first Tab and click on Reopen closed window. This will reopen Edgemium in a new Window with all the previous open Tabs as you had it setup before you accidently closed it.
That's the best we can do for now but at least we don't lose anything.
Hope that's clear now.
This is a helpful workaround, but I note that it fails for some pages which are dynamically created and which won't reopen to their last state.
A "warn me when closing multiple tabs" option seems like a basic needed feature for a tabbed browser. Unfortunately, the current Chrome lacks this feature, so Edge does too. It seems we users just don't know what is good for us...
