why am i getting charged for total ad blocker and i dont know what it is

Why am I getting charged for total ad blocker because I have never seen any advertisement or anything like it before Please refund full amt $119.00

"Me thinks" TotalAdBlock is a SCAM! For starters, after installing the app, I found no difference in the app's ability to block ads per advertised on TotalAdBlock's website.

I signed up with TotalAdBlock because it said it was advertised as "free." Then TotalAdBlock started charging me monthly - first month $1.99, then $9.99 for each month thereafter. I signed up with PayPal for the one payment. After seeing charges on my credit card statement, I reviewed the PayPal charges. and saw the two $9.99 charges plus the $1.99 first month charge. I sought to cancel the app altogether. At the time I downloaded the TotalAdBlock app, I thought I was paying a one time charge and (luckily) had the charge billed PayPal. TotalAdBlock continued to charge my PayPal account. I just spent over two hours today tracking down the correct link to cancel TotalAdBlock — I accessed the cancel link via my PayPal account. (Thanks to PayPal's help!)

It took me six emails to finally get a customer service rep to tell him to cancel my "subscription".

They refunded one payment and not a word of the previous charges.

My credit card company, Capital One, was of no use. I even cancelled my previous card, and got a new one. But ths charge appeared on the new card. So the credit card company allowed it.

BTW, the Total Ad Block is one of several products marketed by a firm in London England

I was charged $119.00 recently on my paypal mastercard. I want my money back. I paid $19.00 once last year, but I notified total adblock that I wanted to cancel. Now I want to dispute this charge of $119.00

I did the same thing! However I have nothing to cancel because I never signed up for it . The only place they could have got that number I believe was Microsoft. I don't use that card it is clean no charges for almost a year. I have nother card that is my go to card if I was going to charge anything it would have been on my go to card. My Card company is reversing the charges and sending a new card/number. I have looked all over my computer and it is not on my computer! Good luck everyone getting your money back!

My cc blocked it two months ago but it still showed up. I then asked for a new card and it showed up on that. So apparently the cc company allowed it.

I sent an email to thje company o\in old London. We will see what happens. My cc apparently doesnt want to support me
