'Add all open tabs to collection' option is gone; when you right click on a tab it used to be at the bottom? Help?

I have the exact same version of Edge: no menu items regarding the issue.

I had the same problem, but this function appears to be added back. I'm not sure when, but I'm on version 131.0.2903.112.

I can confirm Rt-click and

"Add all tabs to Collections" with a cascading Collection picklist

"Add all selected tabs to Collections" with a cascading picklist

"Add tab group to a new Collection"

now all work when signed in to a Microsoft Personal account or to a M365 Work or School account.

During troubleshooting, I signed out of the personal account. Added tabs to a collection, waited a day or so, then signed back in to the personal account. The "Setting up sync" message persisted longer than usual. Within a day, collections added locally (not signed in) appeared in the signed in collections. Sometime after that, the context menu options reappeared.

As noted by a prior poster, a separate profile with an M365 account always functioned properly.

I agree with what a few others have said, workspace is the best alternative, but highly annoying. This question was originally posted almost TWO years ago... yeah not a chance they'll fix it. I'd also recommend extensions such as OneTab too

FWIW, I'm on Windows 11 Pro and signed in with my work email. I'm also logged into Edge with the same work email profile. Edge is also Microsoft Edge for Business. I have Workspaces enabled as well but never use them. I have my tabs in the vertical view.

When the button went away, I would add all tabs to favorites and create a new folder before Edge updated as I would frequently lose open tabs. When I saw that it was back, I clicked it and pressed "Start New Collection". The Collection pane flew out but was black. I had to toggle it to favorites and back for it to appear.

I'm also on 22631.4602. I had an update to 24H2 but when I restarted, it failed and said "Recovering Windows" or something like that. I didn't check if it was still not working before this happened so I have no way to know if this "fixed" it. Might be worth going to Apps and clicking Modify on Edge to reinstall for kicks.

I have Edge at the same release as you but the option isn't showing when I right-click a tab.

I verified if I had Workspaces enabled, I verified if I had Collections enabled, Iverified if I had those two buttons showing: They were all Enabled but that didn't give me these options like it is showing for you.

I also closed MS Edge and reopened it same missing Collections options when I right-click a tab.
