PDF Table of Contents

Whenever I needed to view a pdf I always used Edge because it has a table of contents in the sidebar, but now that I'm using the new Edge, it no longer seems to have that, I was just wondering if this is a feature that hasn't been integrated yet, or if there's an alternate way of getting it back.

The table of contents feature is now available in the Stable release Edge 86 released October 9th.

    At this point, I don’t really care what Microsoft strongly encourages or discourages us to do so long as Microsoft does not care for its clients’ needs. These shortcommings with the new edge has been persisting for months now without a fix, even in the horizon. To be honest, there are much better and more secure web browsers (i.e. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) out there to use for browsing purposes. I personally only used the old Edge as a PDF viewer as it was simple, fast and smooth, and I’ll continue to do so untill they fix the new Edge.

    Sir, you haven't understood the question...

    The question is about how one can be able to read the contents of a book or PDF.

    The previous version had provision for this.

    Where you would click on a panel and contents of a book are displayed, then you could choose which exact section to open in a given book.

    Yes, just about any other pdf viewer available today. Microsoft, you've been doing innane stuff like this for decades. I just don't get it.
