Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

I cannot understand why Microsoft have limited the number of Quick Links able to be displayed on the home page to eight. I have been using Firefox for several years and found that with up to 16 available, I can cover the the sites I uses regularly (although I don't use all 16).
To not even, say, allow an option to increase the number seems to be unnecessarily controlling/limiting.
I have submitted this as formal feedback, I hope more people do so.

I only have seven :-) But I agree with you. I have used Firefox for years and before that, Netscape, but my banking site does not allow me to use Firefox.
Definitely need more quick links
If you see something in Edge that you don't like, or there is a feature you're missing, please use the browser's feedback option to make your opinion or wishes known. Feedback goes straight to the Edge team and forms the basis for their future work. The most common items of feedback are collated each month and a table listing them and the progress that's being made with them is posted at the top of this forum.
If you examine the current table, you'll see this item:
| Planned for December | Allow more top sites on the New Tab Page |
|---|
This means that the feature will be released for testing in the insider previews then, and all being well added to the public stable version soon afterwards.

Definitely need more quick links
I agree with you buddy, same here I use Firefox where I have all the quick links necessary on the homepage. I need 16 or more in order for me to do the job quickly. I switched to Microsoft Edge, but it is frustrating because they only have 8 Quick links on their homepage. I wish there was a way to write to them and ask them to add more Quick links.
Regards,
Way to go. How many? 10? Then, next year 12?
I'm amazed how you fail to understand people's basic needs when designing a product.
Over and over again, Microsoft.
Crème de la crème, baby.
