I cannot understand why Microsoft have limited the number of Quick Links able to be displayed on the home page to eight. I have been using Firefox for several years and found that with up to 16 available, I can cover the the sites I uses regularly (although I don't use all 16).
To not even, say, allow an option to increase the number seems to be unnecessarily controlling/limiting.
I have submitted this as formal feedback, I hope more people do so.

As mentioned in the Thread, it has been approved to be added and is in testing.
I can see why you would need them. You shoudl send feedback so they understand your sistuatoin. How would more than 8 quik links fit on one page though. I tis kinda of a clutter. Hope they figure that out.

You could find a new tab extenstion like a themed one that replaces the new tab with it's own quicklinks style that maybe have 16 extenstions. IT is in the works. It is in testing in beta and canary channels or dev.
