I want more than 8 Quick-Links on the Edge homepage.

I cannot understand why Microsoft have limited the number of Quick Links able to be displayed on the home page to  eight. I have been using Firefox for several years and found that with up to 16 available, I can cover the the sites I uses regularly (although I don't use all 16).

To not even, say, allow an option to increase the number seems to be unnecessarily  controlling/limiting.

I have submitted this as formal feedback, I hope more people do so.

Its so useful and i simply have more then 8 Links to use...

Talking to the Edge team yesterday, I raised this question. Their reaction was How many would you like to see?

This thread has many contributors, but your complaints and requests are pretty well wasted here. If you want to persuade the Edge developers to take notice, please use the feedback option in the browser to make your views known. Feedback is what drives improvements and enhancements to the browser.

To submit feedback, press Alt-Shift-i or click  (Settings and more) > Help and feedback > Send feedback. Give your report a clear first-line heading (e.g. 'Quick links') so it can quickly be routed to the appropriate team, and explain in a few words why you're making the request (e.g. 'My hands shake, so it's easier to hit a tile than an entry on the favourites bar'). Be sure to say how many quick links you'd like to see at least, on which type of screen (laptop, tablet in portrait mode, smart phone).

Google, Brave, Opera, Firefox etc just about anyone can do updates faster than Microsoft and this should have been a relatively easy update so imagine if it has real issues!

BTW this thread is from Aug 2020
