Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

I cannot understand why Microsoft have limited the number of Quick Links able to be displayed on the home page to eight. I have been using Firefox for several years and found that with up to 16 available, I can cover the the sites I uses regularly (although I don't use all 16).
To not even, say, allow an option to increase the number seems to be unnecessarily controlling/limiting.
I have submitted this as formal feedback, I hope more people do so.

Then just install the insider versions and see if there is a flag that enables it. I am not sure how they got it.
I'm one of the people who got a "preview version", and posted about it in an earlier post. It only lasted for a couple of days, and it didn't work properly for that "test period". However, I was not given any warning it was coming, nor that it was going, nor was I asked for any feedback (that I noticed anyway, I'm assuming it would be via email), nor did I request or do anything to get the "beta" version, it just was there one day, and then it wasn't a few days later.
I hope that clears up any questions people might have. I do not understand why this seems to be such a huge challenge to implement, while I'm not a programmer, common sense tells me this should be a relatively easy thing to do, and it just plain shouldn't take this long or be this hard. Now, if they just came out and said, look folks, we're sorry, but not enough people are asking us for this to justify us spending any time on it, while I'd be disappointed (and indeed, to the point that I'd argue with them), at least that's an answer, if not a good one. But we haven't even received that.

Ok, have no idea what your talking about.
By the way, please note that nobody needs your approval for anything they post.
Perhaps to clarify, your recent post is about features involving TABS and not about quick links on the Edge home page.
While using tabs in this was can provide a functionality that some people find useful, it is not a replacement for quick-links on the home page.

Thank you for the notice. That subject is not what this thread is about.
We want more than eight Quick-Links on the Edge homepage.
I thought we were discussing wanting more than 8 quick links?
