Chinese characters disappear when editing a pdf file on Microsoft Edge

Can someone help me with this.

I want to edit a pdf file on Microsoft Edge. It was fine with the English language; but I can't type Chinese characters, like they just disappear.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    I'm here at 11 Aug 2022, and this problem still alive. It's not only get wrong with Chinese letter but also with Vietnamese or Japanese too. Hope someone will fix it asap because i loved using edge but this failure is quite inconvinience for me (maybe with many pp).

    Here November 8 2022, trying to edit PDF with Chinese characters and tried adding it to Edge languages but I'm still experiencing this TT

    its 2020-12-02, this problem still here and that's really make me confuse.

    It is 2023 and still doesn't display Turkish, Greek, French and Hebrew.

    The customer rep said that it’s a known issue and has to deal with chromium web engine and font support is not working correctly.
