Chinese characters disappear when editing a pdf file on Microsoft Edge

Can someone help me with this.

I want to edit a pdf file on Microsoft Edge. It was fine with the English language; but I can't type Chinese characters, like they just disappear.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    I'm now on 104.0.1293.70. Just tested and problem remains for ALL unicode charaters in text box....

    So the text function of Edge does not seems like to support Unicode...

    As of 9/13/2022, I take the steps to add Chinese to the language but the result is same, the textbox disappear if I type in Chinese characters.. but stays if I type in English words. Thanks tho!

    I will go ahead to continue to use Kami.

    I have experienced the same issue, that the edge is saving Chinese edit but could not display the edit.

    Hello whitedaspace, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you are having problems editing a .PDF file in Chinese characters;

    Initially I recommend that you try to add the Chinese Language to Edge;

    Open Edge and click (...) in the upper right corner of the screen to access Settings;
    Click on Languages ​​on the left;
    Click on Add Languages ​​and add the Chinese language;
    Close Edge and open it again;
    Check if you are now able to edit the file in Chinese;

    Hi, I have tried adding Chinese language as mentioned above, still not able to add Chinese using Edge in pdf file.
